1Cr 11:16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, all I can say is that we have no other custom than this, and all the churches of God feel the same way about it.

Coonskinner, thanks for putting so much thought into my question. But i dont put a lot of faith in the NIV or NLT.Do you agree with their interpretation of this verse?

NIV
John 3:
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

NLT
John 3:
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Will and shall are pretty much synonyms.

Paul said that to let people no that there was no other custom observed by any church of God.

It means exactly what it says.

I agree that it means exactly what it says.

1Co 11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have(G2192) no(G3756) such(G5108) custom,(G4914) neither(G3761) the churches(G1577) of God.

Hebrew
(G2192 have) ekh'-o
A primary verb fear, following, have, hold, keep, + lack, + go to law, lie, + must needs, + of necessity, + use.

(G3756 no) oo
Also οὐκ ouk ook used before a vowel and οὐχ ouch ookh before an aspirate.
A primary word; the absolutely negative (compare G3361) adverb; no or not: - + long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, [can-] not, + nothing, .

(G5108 such) toy-oo'-tos
(Including the other inflections); from G5104 and G3778; truly this, that is, of this sort - like, such (an one).

(G4914 custom)soon-ay'-thi-ah
From a compound of G4862 and G2239; mutual habituation, that is, usage: - custom.

(G3761 neither )oo-deh'
From G3756 and G1161; not however, that is, neither, nor, not even: - neither (indeed), never, no (more, nor, not), nor (yet), (also, even, then) not (even, so much as), + nothing, so much as.

(G1577 churches)ek-klay-see'-ah
From a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564; a calling out, that is, (concretely) a popular meeting, especially a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Christian community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both): - assembly, church.

I was doing a study on Psalms 119 and one Hebrew source said that the term statue would be the same as the word custom in one of it's definition?

I don't see much of a difference in those verses and what the KJV says.
