that doesn't make sense. The GOP is voting in a Primary, not National Elections. They aren't choosing either Trump or Hillary. They are choosing a Republican candidate. In fact its not settle yet Hillary will be running for president yet

GOP elites have even said they'd vote for Hillary if Trump was the nominee. Party leaders are more opposed to Trump (and Cruz to a lesser extent) than they are to Hillary. That's the impression they have given.
