being from the south, I hear a lot about how my family tree doesnt "fork" meaning it has no "branches" as we are all apparently related.
It's just one straight tree

Being the genealogist in our family, I can tell you this - we're not as far apart as some folks think. It's amazing how few generations you have to go back before you start finding places where our ancestors connected. My guess would be that if we knew both your ancestry and mine, by the time we would get back to the late 1600's or early 1700's, we would find that we had family who either intermarried or lived in the same town, or fought in the same regiment or something.

Ya, but I think we'd all find some sort of connection a long time before we get to Noah

Changing the subject....
Have any of you ladies ever gotten your hair permed after a pregnancy? How long should I wait? Will the last week in June be too soon? I haven't had a perm for 2 years and my husband likes it permed plus it is easier for me to handle when it is permed because it is naturally frizzy and it will NOT stay straight no matter what I do.
Anyways what do you ladies think? I really don't want to wait much longer but I also do not want to waste my money or ruin my hair.

I see!! I am beginning to think that about our family!!!! I visualize trees that are all connected!! I told my mom that we really need to find out who all our family is on her side so that there is not inter-marrying going on!! Lol!!
