It is easy to say because Jesus made it easy to understand. You are just a sore loser because even you can see what Jesus meant. Catholics are lost as lost can be. You don't like that? Then work to get them unlost.

yet when i quote Christ all manner of objections are raised about what Christ really meant, which yes does strike me as self-evident; "Love your neighbor as you love yourself; this fulfills the law and prophets." not quite getting how i'm a sore loser because i want to suggest a more literal understanding of this principle, you guys are sposed to be the literal ones

Re: Are all Catholics lost?

Who on the forum agrees that "fulfilling the law" means salvation?

What Christ really meant was that there are so called "Christian" that He doesn't acknowledge. That the entrance into eternal life is extremely tight which causes individuals to actually miss the entrance. Plus the road leading to this small opening is hard to navigate. Very plain words, and sadly they go over your head like a fly ball. But you twist and turn falling over verses which you neither explain, or attempt to even understand in their context. But when a man like Brother Blume spoon feeds you, you play the monkey dancing and scratching.
