My Take On Illegal Immigration

We have made a mess that is not easily fixed... the first thing to do is plug the leak and then worry about amnesty for the people who are already here (Especially the ones who have been here for 30 years and now have kids who ARE citizens).

What if were looking at it like this.

Lets say a guy commits a crime.

Nobody catches him (although to be a fair analogy he would have to continue committing the crime)

And then... when they finally catch him... he has settled down... he has a family & kids etc.

Should we execute the punishment of that crime?

nope - there is no excuse for the crime

the punishment should fit the crime...

someone who stole or murdered someone - should be treated differently than the man who brought his family across a border for the hopes of a better life, an education and healthcare.

how about for every illegal we allow in, we export one lazy welfare recepient?

not all welfare repients are lazy good for nothings, but many are...

They come in illegally.

So the rule of law means nothing anymore?

What about the thief who steals to provide for his family? Shouldn't we treat him differently than the one who steals for profit?

Your reasoning lacks sound judgement and needs to be re-thought.

Welcome to Liberalism run-amuck...we should change our constitution to edit out the word Republic. We are no longer a republic in the true sense of the word...laws mean nothing in this nation anymore.
