I was told about the place. I'm planning to stop at it next time I driving through. We can meet there. https://gatorsbbq.net/

I'm curious how this turned out. It's none of my business, but it caught my eye because I'm around 50 miles south of him on I 85 (if he's still in Charlotte).
I guess that's what I get for only sticking my head in the forum a couple of times a year!

He left Charlotte with his family and bounced around Mississippi and Louisiana and is in Columbia Louisiana atm. Its a looooong story and a wild ride but Jesus worked it allllllll out for the good.
Seriously though...thanks for asking. Sorry we never got the chance to meet when we were close by. We lived in Matthews.
