Satan is a spirit being just as all angels are. It wasn't an nebulous "spirit of rebellion" that filled Ananias' mind.

The Scripture teaches that all sin comes from within man.
Mark 7:15 specifically rules out ANY outside agency defiling a person or causing them to sin, and
James 1:14-15 specifies the mechanism by which sin occurs.
Therefore, Peter's words to Ananias must be understood in that light, which will show what "satan" is being discussed there. There is more than one satan, devil, enemy, or adversary.
