After all the article is about EVANGICALS?

No, I am not sure you aren't saying that.
I think that you would agree that David French, for National Review, writes about Evangelicals from a secular mindset. I've read enough to know that his religious beliefs are mainstream
That also doesn't dismiss the fact that I agree with his quote I referenced in my post.
I don't look for Armageddon around every corner, I believe the Jewish people will have to account for
Acts 2:38, as do the Apostles, and I am very glad we have them as a Democratic ally in the Middle East.
I also do believe that Paul respected the Jewish people and believed that God did as well or he wouldn't have written - "What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly,
because that unto them were committed the oracles of God."
Romans 3:1-2
They were entrusted with the Law of Moses, the psalms and the prophets - which testified of Jesus Christ. Did they know that? Not many of them did. Paul found out though, as have many others.
You don't really know what David French is saying by writing these words - "But the vast bulk of Evangelical support for Israel rests on faith in ancient promises, wonder at modern miracles,..."
Representing the National Review, it wouldn't be wise for him to blast out that the Jews are damned if they don't receive the Gospel. After all, if you think about it, that is the reason that AFF is a shell of its former self.
And the comment by Cenk at the Young Turks (located in French's article) was very clever, playing into the division between the two factions, three if you include Cenk's group.
"You know what's REAL anti-semitism? Right-wing Evangelical Christians supporting Israel because they think it will bring about the End Times where all of the Jews die. Worst anti-Semitism in the world!"
I am only responsible for what I do with the Gospel message, not what you do, David French or anyone else.
Nonetheless, I understand his point.
