Your accent isn't necessarily "Texan"... however....using words like "gal" can tend to put you...well...in the LoneStar State or thereabouts. LOL!!!!
I'd give the accent a midwest/white American. But those southern phrases...  You've got to clean that up or you'll be mistaken for a southerner every time.
