The Sound Of The Shofar Is Blowing

Grace and peace unto you in the name of our God and Father, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God." (Isaiah 58:1-2)

In the modern days we are living in, there are spiritual dangers all around us. Sin is becoming rampant, and men are walking away from the statutes of the Word, following instead the backslidden spirit of Charismatic Liberalism. The sins of many in past generations have become acceptable and are even promoted in these modern times. Despite this, the Lord of the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, is raising up a generation of individuals to sound the alarm in Zion, and show forth the people the word of the Lord.

They are coming from all walks of life, and they are sounding the shofar (trumpet), calling people to repentance, and the Church back to holiness. They are telling the people of their sins, of their backsliding, of their rebellion, and are doing so under the call of the Almighty God, Jesus Christ. They are stepping into backslidden churches, and challenging the preachers and saints to restore back that which is pleasing unto the Lord; the ways of true Bible holiness.

They are men and women of prayer. The women are restoring themselves to being in their right places of standing. The men are being the true godly leaders they have been called to be. This is happening all throughout the world, because the days are evil, and men’s hearts have deceived them into believing a lie, and being damned.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thessalonians 2:9-12)

The spirit of the coming antichrist, the lawless one, has already begun to sweep into many churches. Saints who once welcomed holiness into their lives are now bringing the tools of demons right into their living rooms. Saints who, at one time, dedicated themselves to prayer and fasting, Bible reading and witnessing, have now backslidden into bringing television into their homes. The splits have gone up, and the morals have gone down. Apathy has replaced standards. Sin has become acceptable, and preachers have fallen in love with filthy lucre more than with the Word. They believe no longer that sin is sin, have accepted this strong delusion, and are damned to eternity, lest they repent and turn.

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"? (James 4:4-5)

Holiness has never been a suggestion. It has always been a commandment from the very throne of the Lord. Men and women have always strived, not to live as close to the world and still “make it”, but have strived to walk as close to God and know they are going to make Heaven their final destination. The shofar is sounding, my friend. The alarm is going forth out of Judah. The Church has seen the spirit and is allowing it. But, the Lord knows who is His, and how they have been called to a walk of holiness before the Lord.

Apathy has no place in the Kingdom. The lack of caring about holiness has no part in this way of righteousness. Israel of old was condemned for going after the ways of the heathens. The Church has now started down the same path. Repeatedly, the punishment of Israel was their conquest. Our’s shall be spiritual slavery and damnation. O Israel of God! We must turn back to the altar of the Cross and repent of our sins. Turn back to the old ways of holiness and stand firm on that which is right before the Lord.

“You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which the men of old have set, in your inheritance which you will inherit in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.” (Deuteronomy 19:14)

The old landmarks are being moved, and that which was of the world is now coming into the Church. False doctrines like preterism and docetism are now acceptable differences within our body. Women preachers have become the norm within the Church. That which the Bible calls an abomination is now welcomed into our systems of beliefs. The Lord of the harvest is looking for laborers to bring in the harvest, but the barns stand being ruined by the harvesters. We must, as a people, shout it, that judgment is coming from the house of the Lord. Women turn and be women. Men, turn and be thou as a man. Preachers, quit sitting in front of a computer to get a sermon, and find an altar of prayer until you hear from the throne.

The alarm is sounding in Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Turn my people, says the Lord. Rebuild the temple of God which is within you. Restore the old landmarks and waste places. Rebuild the highway that is called holiness. Take off your spotted and tattered garments, and I will give you robes, washed again in My blood. Turn to Me, My people, and I will receive you. Turn back to holiness. This is our time. Turn people of God, lest you be rent. Turn, saints of the Most High. The shofar is sounding. Do not turn a deaf ear. Turn back!

"Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD. Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:8-10)

The shofar is sounding today, that it is still holiness or Hell. Church, turn to the Lord who has called you. Reject the ways of the heathens. Reject the paths of sinners. Reject the ways of dominions of this world. The wagons are coming to take us to the place of abundance. But, we must be ready. Turn back, hear the sound of the call of many modern prophets, and turn back to holiness. Rend your heart, and turn back to the Lord today.

This is all that was on my mind today. The Lord gave me this after the service last night, when Pastor Bourne relayed a dreamed he had previously. It just stuck with me. The shofar is blowing, and the time has come for us to listen to the Word of the Lord.

Those who love sin and the world will disregard this sound. They will love the sound of the world more than the call.

One time this young preacher came to the pulpit after having prayed and prepared in the office of the associate pastor...to whom he went to JCM with.

He told the congregation how he was in his office praying and saw a vision about (his friend) the associate pastor, how that wolves sought to destroy him, but the arms of the Lord was holding them back.

About a week after that I was in the Associate pastor's office talking with him, and low and behold, there was a large painting depicting a wolves gathering around a preacher their mouths watering, and there was the Lord holding them back.

I suppose folks get their inspiration from different places.
