Stephen, I highly recommend the Tomtom One...they are the second largest manufacturer of GPS next to Garmin....but this standard model has many of the bells and whistles that the upper scale models have (and the comparable Garmin does not have the features that this one has...for that you have to go higher up in model)...I did some comparison shopping before purchasing mine about 2-3 months ago, and this was the best bang for the buck....see link below.
