One of the things that bothers me more then anything, is the jumping and running and screaming during a sermon. How do you get anything out of the message if you can't even hear it. I can still remember when ministers would have crying babies taken out of a service if they were to loud...........

And now it's unnecessary because the service is so loud, you can't hear them crying.

Psa 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

I don't have a problem with any show of exuberance being displayed during the preaching. In that I mean when the Holy Ghost is confirming His Word there will naturally be people His Word is reaching, therefore, you will generally have some response. It is powerful, anointed and awesome when the response is genuine.

What I do have a problem with is people who feel forced to respond because they need to be a part and are petted for it.

I heard a preacher yell, after a man ran around the church, "There's your true worshiper!!!" Wow, I thought the little old lady on her knees was also a true worshiper. It is just putting a stigma and blessing on the ones that are the loudest. I can't agree with that type of teaching.

I do have a problem with a woman that won't remove her child if she can't quiet the child down. That is just not being respectful to the other people in the assembly or the minister who is trying to preach.

I have no problem with worship of any form, as long as it is done in the spirit and not putting on a show. The question i have been asking myself is what is true worship to God?

I have seen many things that i have found disturbing. An example being when i visited the church i grew up in a while back.A young lady was seeking the HG and the preachers son in law ran up to her and poured a whole bottle of olive oil over her head. And there were other things going on that i dont see as biblical worship.

All thru the New Testement, when someone went to worship Jesus they did it on their knees.I have not found a scripture where they rolled around, ran around, jumped ,did a belly flop, moon walk or anything of that nature.

What is true biblical worship of God to you?

I take my baby out the minute she starts to fuss. Major pet peeve of mine is distracting children of any age. Especially when they sit on the front row. GET A CLUE!

I haven't been in a church, thank the Lord, that felt that way. I was specifically speaking of a minister that needs the constant "amening" from the pew to keep going.

I remember a minister coming to our pulpit and saying, "God has given me a message for this church. I don't need you to amen me through the whole thing. When I hear from God, I know it's God and I just bring it to you."

I'd like more people to have that frame of mind.

What I'm trying to really convey is that when the anointing is present and the Spirit of God is allowed to have His way there will be response. It isn't something you have to force. If you have to force it, then you aren't taking your time and are impatient.

First, I would have to stay that I would rather a person express themselves and teach them how to follow after His Spirit then to totally squelch that. The danger of squelching a person's response will put fear in their heart and will take some undoing to get them to feel some freedom in God again.

IMO, it's a person by person call. You can't lumped it all into one box and say, Do it this way.
