Don't know much about the guy. I was just looking up the lyrics to some of the songs listed. If that chorus doesn't qualify as a chant what does?

He's the biggest songwriter in charismatic/apostolic/music friendly Baptist in the US. Great guy. Co-wrote 'Friend Of God. I see your point, I don't have a problem with it because my roots are black gosple, pretty repetitive, ya know? Pretty repetitive, ya know? Pretty repetitive, ya know?

I love black gosple music. The choir where I used to go to church ate it up. We were such a vanilla group singing that stuff. It was funny, but we loved it!!

When we first recorded with CLC Youth Choir, our tape, yes tape sounded like the Chipmunks...funny cuz' we covered Commissioned and did concerts with them, he he! They thought we was cool though for a bunch of pennycostals!!

A lot of the songs old time Pentecost sang were repetitive, and in the Black church we called them "call and answer songs."

What do ya think about Jesus

I would travel mailes and mile to get to hear him preach, I am sure he is a great man...yet, he is a man, and we all are wrong at times! (That includes WO-MAN to, he he) I can say that, my wife is away in the States!
