That God looks at the heart, inside does NOT in any way mean how a person appears outwardly is irrelevant. In fact the outward appearence can be a good indicater of what is happening inward.

Jesus said make the inside clean first so that the outside will be clean also.

He also said it's not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes OUT of the man.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Clothing doesn't come out of a man! His words and actions do

I didn't say they do, but when you say actions, they would include immodesty, wouldn't it??

Yes I agree ... making blanket condemning judgments about a person's salvation based on are IMMODEST.

You mean like condemning her lost?

I'm not judging her like that.

I totally believe in modesty. Believe me I do. But I don't think its fair to judge how much of an Apostolic someone is by what they have on. God doesn't do it, what gives us the right.

God doesn't do it....God doesn't need to. God looks in the heart and he is able to. We look on the outward because that is all we can see.

That is why John told them to bring forth fruit meet for repentance...something we could see. Something that was evidence of a true change in heart

WRONG....we are to judge a tree by its fruit which to determine whether the behavior and attitude demonstrates Christ....there are many criminal CEOs that dress the par and look like UPC ministers in dress appearance....oy vey.
