So... back to the question... do you feel that the transfiguration is what was being referred to when the bible talks about the Son of Man Coming in His Kingdom?
It is a possibility, lets take a look at the scriptures in sequence.

Mat 16:28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

Mat 17:1 Six days later Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and *led them up on a high mountain by themselves.

something to think about.

Wow, so six days later, Jesus expected most of His disciples to be dead? Think about what you are saying. According to His statement, only a few of them would see Him coming into His Kingdom. Some
would not taste of death until He came into His Kingdom. But six days later would it not make more sense for Him to say that all would see Him come into His Kingdom if it was just six days later?

That is not what I said nor is it part of the conversation.

Post #42Mat 16:28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

Some scholars believe this was fulfilled in the next chapter.

Mat 17:1 Six days later Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and *led them up on a high mountain by themselves.
Mat 17:2 And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.

Maybe I misunderstood you. But you seem to be saying that it is a possibility that Mat 16:28 was fulfilled in Mat. 17 at His transfiguration.
