I've heard it that Jesus is our Father and the Church (Jerusalem above per Gal 4:26) is our mother. In this way, Proverbs 1:8 which says, "My son, hear the instruction of your father, and do not forsake the law of your mother" means listen to the Word (Bible) of your Dad (Jesus) and follow the teachings/traditions of your mother (the church). But, if the marriage of the Lamb and His Bride has not happened yet, are we children of premarital sex?

Maybe the marriage takes place when one is born again, as they become the bride of Christ at that point.

Usually in a marriage ceremony the bride takes on NAME of the groom.

Then afterward they get together and consemate the marriage.

Then sons and daughters are born.
