No one who is propagating this lie on us has ever bothered to call me to confirm...and since this thread was started as a result of that rumor on ME...I was just curious if YOU ever talked to the person being ridiculed or not.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but that was one of the finest dances around an issue I've ever read!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me he is only asking for a "Yes" or "No" answer.

Yes, I talked to the pastor personally!

Option #2
No, but I heard it from people that I trust!

LOL!!...I thought for a second there I was the only one who didn't see a direct answer (and was beginning to feel a little dizzy)...but oh well...can't get blood out of a turnip...

It doesn't seem to have changed anything now that I've answered in the affirmative. It would appear that our pursuit was ultimately trivial at best.

So, what we have here is a classic misunderstanding.

T1 thought Steadfast was talking about him. Steadfast was speaking about a different situation altogether.

So can we conclude that T1 did not have a "Hair Cutting Party:" but Stead knows someone personally that cut his wifes hair on the platform?

I want to qualify something here.

1. First of all I don't know Steadfast, but I find no reason to not believe him.
2. I usually will read Steadfast's posts, and he presents his thoughts and opinions very well, even though I may disagree at times.
3. I've never heard him preach, but from what I hear, I would enjoy it!

I'm just saying!

I just wanted a simple..."yes I got it from the actual man being charged with such foolishness" answer.

I guess Steadfast has confirmed that he DID IN FACT get his stroy about some un-named ignoramous from the actual ignoramous and not from the ignoramouses that spread lies on the rumor mill....
