Ok , just dropped bck in here to readsome more on "Fear Factor"

I remeber we were always chastised about getting up and going to the bathroom during preaching.

That "spilled" over into sunday school and childrens church.

We wouldn't let the kids out of class to go. I remember a couple of them wetting their pants.

I can't imangine the "memorys" of this, these poor kids have in their heads.

Yes we were told to not leave during preaching, but many did anyway....never were told to make the kids hold it...that is just plain cruel!

I know a family that adopted a boy from there....it was very very expensive...which made me wonder how much did they really want to get them into homes...we considered it but could not afford it and we are really getting too old!

It's very expensive. I have to wonder why they make it that difficult for people to adopt children from there.

Are you kidding? I have seen some abuse( I don't like that word because it brings up bigger images than reality), I am not against spanking when its truly needed, but unless it gets a desired result your wasting your time....we went to our pastor about some things and he said if you say anything about physical abuse I will have to call childrens welfare.....OH my that backed us off, because what was happening was not bad enough to start all that, we just wanted some guidence on how to help this person deal better with his frustratioin and have more patience with his children...maybe in the long run and looking back we were wrong to not report it....oh dear!
