there is a minister who will put his ties over his TV in hotel rooms so he does not have to see the TV. It's like....just don't turn it on.

I was preaching in TN a few years ago and when I got the hotel to check in and when the guy behind the desk noticed it was direct bill to a pentecostal church he said, "I just had some of your kind check out this morning". I could tell he was not impressed with them. I told him that just because they were pentecostal didn't mean they were my kind. He then wanted to know if I need extra towels to put over my TV. I asked what would I do that for? He said that the ones who had checked out that morning covered their TVs with towels so devils couldn't crawl out of them. They even told them that when they came up front for breakfast he had to turn the TV in the lobby off so no devil would come out of the TV and get them.

I asked where there were from. He told me all over, that they had rented every room in the hotel that week for a meeting of some kind. I told him they were NOT my kind.

The stupid stuff people do and then they wonder why the world won't even take a second look at us.
