May they see the error of their ways.

I also see they have a name for their organization...Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship.
After claiming that they had no intention to form a new organization here they are....forming a new organization.

I wonder how they can imagine that God will bless something birthed in a bed of lies? Is this what outward "holiness standards" can lead to? I can't imagine that God will bless this after so many have lied about it. Sure, they stand for dressing modestly and not having television...but if they can lie like the devil about this for so long it underscores the moral bankruptcy the movement will be founded upon. It reveals what spirit these are of.

Sadly, many good men are going to be swayed into linking up with them for fear of looking "liberal" if they stay with the UPCI.

I see Pastor David Smith in Brewer on the list. I'm assuming his son, Pastor Bradly Smith (OH) may also be leaving the UPCI. This is really sad. Starting a fellowship while lying about it only justifies the more liberal brothers who are staying with the UPCI. Maybe God allowed the television resolution to pass to flush out the old leaven.

Hey, when I called them liars I received a seven day ban.

But if they are starting a new org (and it surely looks like they are), somebody owes me an apology big time!

Not to mention my friend Coonskinner, Steadfast, and others who claimed these men were of the highest moral integrity and would never double-speak.

My pm box is open, and I expect the apologies to start rolling in any moment.

NOT!!!!!!

I will say again, just because they have a plan does NOT mean they will form an organization. Even a fellowship of unlicensed ministers needs a guideline.

I defend this, even if Bro. Riggen feels I am making statements I am not making.

But it apparently is their intention to form one, so what is the difference?

Pastor Poster,

Not all of the men on that list want an org. Why don't we wait until the Tulsa meeting is over and see what happens? If they form one...well that will tell a lot. If they don't, who cares? God is certainly aware in advance, but last I looked, my business card, nor yours, said God in the title line.

BTW, I really do believe some of these men believe if it ain't comin' outa their chimney, it ain't smoke.

They have learned well from a system that is corrupt to the very core.

There is something inherently wrong with us when lying, deception and all sorts of unethical behavior is deemed okay. That is, it's okay if someone in power does it.

If someone in Podunksville, Arkansas who pastors a small church and gives little to the coffers of the orgs does it, he's probably gonna get the cat-o-nine from his morally superior "elders."

You will get no argument from me on this. I have seen it happen.

So you know, if it turns out it is a lie, I will stand in front of you personally and repent. Time tells all things. I say we give time it's chance before we assume.

Now here is one for you:

What if they don't form an organization?

Does it matter if they ever form it?

There is enough proof that they INTEND to do so.

That is enough to classify them as disengenuous, and I am being very kind.
