Again, I could care less about what they are or are not wearing, and am not passing judgement on any of the people involved, but you are denying something strongly, and accusing someone of SLANDERING people, and I gave you the opportunity to modify your statement. You chose not to. The fact that you are so strongly insisting on your stance makes me curious.
I fully understand the concept of not making snap judgements, I am not a moron.

DD,
Don't know the woman, or the circumstances.
I have been to several PromiseLand services.
Was born into a UPCI family, fourth generation, and visited many churches.
My entire family is still UPCI, and attends MW's church in Apopka.
So I am familiar with many holiness churches within and without UPCI.
PL and CoC would qualify as moderate within those circles.

OK, as I stated at the beginning, not looking for a fight.
Just seriously confused by you. Am I supposed to list my pedigree now? I assure you, I have an extensive UPCI pedigree also, with family members having pastored in numerous states. And also have extensive experience with "holiness" churches outside of the UPCI.
You have your opinion on the subject, and apparently it is the only one that counts. I merely was trying to throw a little light on others perspective. You and Thad have made up apparently, but the fact that you accused him of slander based on your opinions is still troubling to me.

DD,
I have no intention of questioning either your pedigree or your right to a personal opinion as to the definition of "moderate", liberal, con, or ultra-con.
And you are correct, unfortunately everything said between Thad and I was not listed on the forum. My bad. But not going to re-open at this point.
The conversation was started about the leadership. Thad said things specifically to evoke a response. He did. He knows the leadership is moderate. I cannot claim to know every single saint at PL and how they dress outside church. For that matter, with several hundred members, it is impossible to even know everyone here.
However, I know the platform standards at CoC, are moderate as far as UPCI standards. No earrings, no pants (on women), no makeup, no jewelery, hair put up etc etc.
So yes I stand by the "moderate" statement. And yes you are certainly entitled to your observation that this just might not be holy enough for some farther west.
