I think what some of these conservative guys are saying is that if I would state my thoughts and opinions NICELY, they would be willing to admit that OCCASIONALLY my statements would be more palatable and that if I were to say very NICE things about the dear men of God who have been conducting themselves in un-gentleman-like manner for a number of years, THEN MAYBE they would like me more and not be so mean to me.
