Wouldn't a confessional be better?
I never did have much confidence in "unspoken request," since the scriptures make it plain that we are to make our requests "known."
Confessionals solve many problems, especially when there is a voice disguise present in them.

I don't have a problem with an unspoken request....and have prayed many times for those...by simply saying "Whatever their need is...Grant their request Lord...."
I don't need to know everything..but if somebody does confide in me and asks me not to reveal or share...unless abuse is involved...many things will go to my grave....I don't share with my wife...or anybody...
