Re: Please Explain the Existence of Dinasour Fossi
Bro. Blume may have mentioned this but another verse used to support the "pre-Adamic theory, is Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Replenish means to RE-fill. To make full AGAIN.

IMO this particular argument doesn't hold a lot of water because, while the english translation chosen was the word replenish, the original hebrew word doesn't seem to hold any connotation of REplenishing above simply filling.

The word seems to simply mean to fill, complete, satisfy etc and, unless someone can share some other information I have not yet come across, carries no real connotation that this word means to REfill rather than simply meaning to FILL the earth.
But... these are just my thoughts.

I agree. I don't necessarily agree or disagree with the theory. I posted that to show that some use it to teach the "Pre-Adamic Creation" theory. To think that there might, or might not have been, a creation before Adam, is too much for me to wrap my mind around. LOL, I do good to remember last week, let alone eons ago!

Indeed. And I certainly wasn't out to disagree, argue or prove anything wrong.
I am appreciative of your input. Everything constructive that anyone adds to a conversation adds to the value of said conversation.
Thanks for sharing your posts. They have been a blessing.

Noah was told to replenish the earth after it was destroyed... and Adam and Eve were told to replenish the earth... I just don't think that we have the whole written story... thank goodness for science....
