The funny part of this video is the look that comes over his face when he realizes what he said.

Re: Pulpit Bloopers.

One day after service, an assistant preacher's wife invited the entire leadership to dinner for the following Saturday. When the day arriived, it turned out to be record-breaking HOT and HUMID!. The wife slaved in the kitchen all day long hoping to make that special dinner.

When it was finally time to sit down and eat, the Assistant Preacher turned to his 8 year old son and asked him to say the blessing. The little boy leaned forward and nervously whispered to his father, "But I don't know what to say." To which the father responded, "Just say something you've heard your mother say."

So the little boy bowed his head and promptly said, "Oh dear Lord, why did I invite all these people to dinner on such a hot, hot day?"

I wish I could tell you who did this, but.......

He began an eloquent and anointed message on all the intricate designs of God, the human make-up, all the "organisms", alas he pronounced that word incorrectly..

I guess he isn't the only clueless one???

Re: Pulpit Bloopers.

Someone once told me about being in revival with a preacher who was preaching about Balaam's donkey. He was trying to avoid saying a**, and this is what wound up coming out "If God could speak through the a** of a donkey"!!!

I know a pastor in IL that did that too. Maybe the same person? No, probably not.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?
