Obama's idea of patriotism-- one must do more than wear an American flag lapel. True patriotism requires that one does something.

In changing the Presidential Seal for campaign purposes, he has not done anything to show disrespect for our government or that seal.

More has been done to disrespect this government emblem by the bad decisions of this current admin, IMO.

evidently Obama's view of Patriotism is losing what ever war American is currently fighting and to repeat the failures of past administrations in an effort to not fail....

I think I would rather a guy willing to offer up platitudes and take opinion polls on what his position should be. generally that keeps an Ideologue from really messing things up (i.e. Bill "the Cigar" Clinton)...

I think I could live without Barak's version of patriotism.

I think I could live without Barak's version of patriotism.

So when he expressed his willingness to bomb Pakistan (who harbors terrorists) and was criticized for being to eager to bomb an "ally", he was really expressing that he ants America to lose the war on terrorism.

Where did he propose to make drastic cuts to the military?

Baraks idea is abandont Iran and bomb allies in an effort to win the war?

But very recently we did indeed attack Pakistan because anti-Afghan forces attacked us and fled into Pakistan. 11 Pakistani soldiers were killed. We carried out this operation without the approval of the Pakistani govt, our ally. Truth be told, there are al quaeda targets in Pakistan and they sould be addressed militarily, by them or us. Obama is willing to do that.

there is a bit of a difference between continued pursuit of an enemy into Pakistan and and a cross boarder raid.


there is also quite a bit of a difference between doing something that needs to be done, and bringing public attention to such an act. what obama did was stupid. even if the president feels the need to take such an action, you NEVER make public comment beforehand!

it was unwise and unnessary and further proof that Obama should not be president.

Others have made comments concerning Iran rather recently. In the past, I can remember the "axis of evil" remarks too. Again, IMO, to many folks will criticize everything this man does or does not do.
