Last I checked that Seed has come.

Galatians 3:23-25
23 Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.
24 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.
25 Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

People of faith don't need the law.
You take things out of context and confuse the whole subject. You confuse salvation with the simple fact that THE LAW POINTS TO SIN! Did sin change? Is there still sin at all? Are people still judged by sin? If not you believe in Universal Salvation or Universalism. If not then point to what the nature of sin is my friend without the law? You can't! There are two righteousness. One that came by the law and one that came by faith in Messiah who is the Word/law/nature/mind of God made flesh. The one under the MC was impossible to fullfill through the flesh which was weak. T

Though it pointed to that which was righeouss and good and holy. The flesh could not reflect perfectly the rightouessness of God. As it reflected to do what is right before God your fellow man and your enviroment. By the Law no one could be justified as it did not provide the sacrifice to atone for our sins and it depended on perfection. Thus the law could not proclaim justification for anyone as we where ALL transgressors!
The New Covenant which by definiton is "LAW" or written contract/agreement! Saves us through faith which is the response to God's Word which is the NC which is LAW! When God brings forth his Word which results in conviction in our lives of sin(which the law points) and shows us the remedy(which the law points) Y'shua we either respond or turn away from him. By responding by having FAITH (which is not mental assent but conitnual leading of the Spirit to do)which is a response to the NEW LAW/COVENANT! We will be saved! The New Covenant is proclaimed as the GOOD NEWS/GOSPEL! As God said my law will be written on your hearts! Thus Messiah is life/truth/law/order/divine structure brought into your life. You cannot, nor ever will have truth without the law of God as Jesus is the LAW/WORD/NATURE of God made flesh and now in your hearts which was the heart of flesh prophecied!

God's Laws which are truths are eternal. God's revelation of himself and his nature have been revealed throughout time in covenants. God's laws transcend covenants! You may not be judged in your view by the law in this covenant but it does not change the fact to what SIN is. Otherwise you are saying SIN is no more. Sin is still sin whether you are judged by it or due to faith in the atonement of Christ! Shall we continue in SIN (which is define in part by the law) that grace may abound?? Define sin without the law? You can't!

I take a very literal reading of the OT law of Moses. Can you provide an instance in the OT where the law not to muzzle the ox is applied in another sense than the literal?

I guess I should have said that it applies to more than just the muzzling of the ox...as Paul states.
