Did I ever say he was not the high priest? Did I say he did not bring a new covenant? Again you still do not still see that God's law go beyond a covenant. God's nature is reflected in his covenants and his nature which is reflectec by laws does not change!

Which indicates to me that the old law had passed away. The law and the prophets were until John. Jesus' ministry was a transitional time between the Old and the New Covenants.
