No way did the Apostles believe or teach that.

Evidently, there are multiple definitions of "Apostolic" now, just as there are multiple definitions of "Baptist", "Catholic", etc.

These labels and descriptions that we give ourselves are starting to mean less and less nowadays.

I don't believe that, and don't know who does...even those with whom I differ on other things baptize in the Name of Jesus.

It is NOT that I don't want to accept it...I said I don't know who does, and I don't.

St. Mark thinks that we're fine with folks being baptized any way they want to. That's far from the truth. I'm not aware of anyone on here comfortable with anything else than Jesus name baptism.

I will only say that I won't put folks in HELL that are baptized differently than we are! Only God will make that determination.

Maybe you don't believe that, but you certainly know some here who do.

I can think of a couple of people on AFF who have expressed that sentiment on AFF. I just don't feel like naming names. That might just open up a can of worms that I don't feel like opening right now.
