It would be a sad day if good people like Bro Epley go away.

That's a Question that only Mike, Renda and the other
Owners and Admin. can decide. Most of them are Xpentecostal,
charismatic or very liberal so I'm not sure where you will come
down on this Bro Epley.

FCF was certainly a miracle or sorts. I use to think that only the
conservatives like CAF only wanted like minded people on their
forum but perhaps the same can be true for an Xpentecostal
site???

Maybe the Lord opened his eyes and showed him that video isn't necessarily a sin(?)
.....

NITW.... If you could, please tell us... what scriptures do you see that support preaching against video?

Many here are heading towards this same belief
I've thought for a while that it was only a matter of time before this heresy tries to creep into the Apostolic church. I don't see it making much headway in the conservative Apostolic churches, but in the more liberal churches, who knows?

I am not admin, but my response is absolutely not!! Why should you leave, Elder?!

We are all Apostolic...Saints of the Most High for crying out loud...!! Why in the world can't we coexist as such?!

All of this 'us' and 'them' grieves me to the core of my being...

Sis Barb,

I guess it all depends on what we define "Apostolic" as.

Do you consider one to be "Apostolic" if they believe you can be baptized in titles and still be saved??

I guess it is starting to be an issue with the term Apostolic, and we are now going to have to start identifying ourselves as either "traditional apostolic", or "modern apostolic".

Matt, to me being Apostolic means following the Apostles' Doctrine. My understanding is that they did not baptise any other way than in the Name of Jesus.

To my knowledge, most here baptise in the Name of Jesus...

Indeed. But the apostles never baptized in titles.

There are some here who believe that if although baptism into the Name is preferred, if you're baptized into the titles it's not that big a deal.

No way did the Apostles believe or teach that.

Evidently, there are multiple definitions of "Apostolic" now, just as there are multiple definitions of "Baptist", "Catholic", etc.

These labels and descriptions that we give ourselves are starting to mean less and less nowadays.

Re: AFF apostolic or not?

I think we can all take part unless we come on the forum with a killer attitude...

I hate the Holier than thou attitude...there are things we can all learn from one another.

We have all been wrong about something sometime in our lives..

Re: AFF apostolic or not?

I prefer to place more focus on the second word in our title....
