Sister, I trust God when I have to go see a doctor. For those who see doctors, it doesn't mean they don't have any faith. It just means they don't have the kind of faith it takes not to go see them. OM is referring to that as great faith. It certainly is a greater faith than I have. The truth of the matter is that it's really easy to talk about having that kind of faith. It's a whole lot harder to live it when you know you are going to die. It really bothers me to see anyone try to exalt themselves, regardless of which route they go on this doctor issue.

Rico, faith isn't measurable. Either you have it or you don't. Faith the size of a mustard seed is all that's needed. Your (not personal your, just general) mountain-sized faith isn't more powerful nor is it more noticed by God than my mustard seed faith.
You won't find 'great faith' in the Bible. Therefore, I have a problem with that 'doctrine'.
Sure, people have that option. I won't deny them that, but it usually extends to their children and those they are responsible for. It's those failures that have ramifications that go far beyond 'they didn't have enough faith'.

There you have it. It is in the Bible.
You haven't proven that their faith was bigger, and therefore got better results than the ones who had just that grain of mustard seed.
There are lots of people in the Bible who had loved ones raised from the dead and other miracles who aren't listed as having a certain portion of faith. Neither do I believe that's what the scriptures above are saying, just that the faith they had was great....not as in a measurement.

Sister, faith most certainly does have some sort of measurement. Have you ever felt faith, like in a service? I have. It definitely occupies space. Anything that occupies space can be measured. Maybe it can't be measured by man, but I believe God can measure it.

The only Biblical measure is that of a mustard seed.
Having more faith than that doesn't get it done faster, better, or done at all.
And sure. I've had lots of faith, and I've had hardly any faith, but when results were seen, there's no difference in the outcome.

There's a scripture that talks about "the" measure of faith. Brother OM has already posted another scripture that talks about "great" faith. You seem to be losing this part of the argument, Sister. Quit while you're ahead.
