You won't find 'great faith' in the Bible. Therefore, I have a problem with that 'doctrine'.
Sure, people have that option. I won't deny them that, but it usually extends to their children and those they are responsible for. It's those failures that have ramifications that go far beyond 'they didn't have enough faith'.
