Thanks for posting this info. It lets us know more how to pray for you, and there is also therapy in just writing stuff down.

Jesus said, and I'm paraphrasing here, peace I give unto you, not as the world gives it to you, but MY peace I give to you.

That's what I'm praying for you to have.....the complete peace of Jesus Christ.
Sarah, very, very few people have had any idea what I was going through. Thank you for praying.

Shalom is something I've been meditating on a lot lately. It means whole, entire, healthy, sound, secure, tranquil, wholeness, safety, soundness, health and peace.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message

Nahkoe--thanks for baring your soul on here and trusting us with your past. God is SO good! I'm glad that you're finding your way. Now that we know more, we can know more how to pray for you. God bless you!

Re: For Margie

Nahkoe, remember this song!....I am praying for you. So happy that things have worked out so well for you.

When you're up against a wall, and your mountain seems so tall
And you realize life's not always fair.
You can run away and hide, let the old man decide
Or you can change your circumstances with a prayer

When everything falls apart - praise His name
When you have a broken heart - raise your hands and say
Lord You're all I need, You're everything to me, and He'll take the pain away

When it seems you're all alone, praise His name
When you feel you can't go on, just raise your hands and say
Greater is He that is within me, and you can praise the hurt away
If you'll just praise His name.

I know you can overcome by the blood of the Lamb and
By the word of your testimony

You'll see the darkness go as your faith begins to grow
You're not alone, so how can you be lonely?

Re: For Margie

Wow, what an amazing testimony. I am speechless.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Heather (Can I call you by your name? Is that ok?)

On a Walk to Emmaus (the Methodist version), one of the things we talk about is Prevenient Grace. That is the grace that God extends to us before we even know Him - and before we even know that we WANT to know Him. Could it be any more evident than it has been in your life? Isn't God wonderful! He loves us even when we have no desire to walk with Him. And He gently draws us to Himself.

I will be praying for you often, Heather. Thanks again for sharing.

You can use my name, I don't even know why it's not in my sig right now.

You're welcome. And thank you for praying.

I do remember this song! JaneEyre..I have no idea who you are, and you never post long enough or often enough for me to get much of a feel, but you were instrumental at one point in keeping me on track. Thank you for the pms and the songs and the sharing.

Here is the video of Sherri Easter singing that song.
