Seeing some of the stuff some preachers and pastors say on some of these forums, its no surprise to me that some of our churches are in such bad shape.
If this is true, then Mark is one of the most ethical, kind people I know because Pastor Sam Emory is a honorable man. They don't come any finer than Sam Emory and, just for the record, he will strongly and gladly defend and support Mark. Guess the bad spirits must be coming from somewhere else. BTW, I do agree most people are a reflection of their pastor.

I don't know that I necessarily agree with this statement.

A pastor can teach what is right but that in no way means folks we do as he says.

Read my entire sentence and catch the word "most." Every church has rebels but the overall look and perspective of the church is that of the pastor. You can often recognize who their pastor is just by seeing them in a mall, restaurant, etc.

I'm glad you said "most" because I definitely disagree with "all". In fact, I believe there are tons of exceptions...and thankfully so in many cases, sad to say.

I'm a reflection of my pastor. Yep, like a mirror image -- the exact reverse!
