My ultimate point was that a Christian can be a Socialist. The history of Christian Socialism is quite rich in Europe, especially Britain. Britain is considered a Christian Socialist country. Israel is also a Socialist country. Socialism is just a different economic theory. Most are too stupid to see the difference between Socialism and Communism though so the two get really confused on occasion. I can respect Socialists though I don't agree with all of their ideology. Some of their ideas I see as provocative or interesting, I'll admit that. But me a devoted Socialist? Not quite.
Oh, and just for the record, notable American Christian Socialist and author, Francis Bellamy, was the author of the Pledge of Allegiance.
