They aren't thick and fluffy like dumplings I have seen. My family doesn't like that kind. We use Martha White or Mission tortillas. I think that's the name.

Well, we like thick and "gommy" - not sure if that's a word, but my MIL uses it all the time.

I have heard that Cracker Barrel Restaurant makes chicken and dumplings as good as my late mother-in-law. I heard that from my wife and she said her mother had also admitted it. Another friend said Cracker Barrel makes chicken and dumplings as good as her mother did. I don't ever remember my wife or mother making chicken and dumplings.

Cracker Barrel's are the BEST!! We have a place here in town called "Dumplings" and their aren't nearly as good as CB.
