well.... I got home a little after 7 and Mrs. Ferd was checking his heart. It seems today he kind of tried to go back into tachycardia but he self corrected and we didnt have to go to the dr.

just watching him close.

we went to church instead and prayed. I feel better about things now.

that was the first hint of the stuff in better than 3 months.

Ferd, is this something he can grow out of or will it always be something you have to watch out for?

Re: Changing Denominations

This hymn keeps coming to mind every time I read this thread:

"He Brought Me Out"

He gave me a song, ’twas a new song of praise;
By day and by night its sweet notes I will raise;
My heart’s overflowing, I’m happy and free.
I’ll praise my Redeemer, who has rescued me.

Refrain

He brought me out of the miry clay,
He set my feet on the Rock to stay;
He puts a song in my soul today,
A song of praise, hallelujah!

Just kidding folks!

Just kidding folks!
Remember the scene where chief inspector Dreyfus's eye would start twitching uncontrollably whenever someone dared utter the phrase "Clouseau"?

That is sort of the reaction I have to this and other songs like it. I remember it being sung 10-20 times in a row (sometimes more) whilst standing for a song service which typically lasted between 30-45 minutes (sometimes more) and often for 3-5 services in a row (sometimes more). And after a typically horrible day in Junior High there were MANY things I would rather have been doing...... But the pastor said we had to be there, and thus my folks (who always listened), were there.

My favorite (not kidding) song in church was the doxology.

we hope by age 1 he will out grow it. but even if he does, the dr says the potential is that he could have it come back.

there is a procedure that would kill the electrical pathway causeing the tachycardia but because of other issues (not serious ones) the likelyhood is the bad pathway is very close to the good electrical pathway. That means, killing the bad one could also damage the good one and then he would be on a pace maker for the rest of his life.

we are just believing God that this will clear up and all will be well....
