Perfection comes from God not us , so in essence we are incapable of doing anything truly righteous but since we are members of the body of Christ , the workmanship of God , He lives His perfection through us therefore we can take no credit for doing anything righteous. It is just as Paul said " yet not I but Christ lives in me " .

I in myself am only capable of " missing the mark " .
I in Christ am incapable of " missing the mark ."

Holy living comes through Christ not us .

yeah, semantics... .. I was not speaking that simplisticly.... I meant the same

Maybe I should have reversed the phrase, "we are capable of living a perfect life by the power of the Holy Ghost in us"
