Well that is a pathetic answer to the question I asked... which was specific to the comment Delta made....

By the way, I have been a long term fan of U2 (going back to Sunday Bloody Sunday days)....


It just seems to me that if a feller thought a warning was necessary for the weak, then the strong (out of their strength) would naturally avoid it... what ever the "it" was...

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

About the gangster point I was saying that music doesn't affect everyone the same. I wouldn't change who I am because of the music I listen to.

Yes the female body is beautiful and not that doesn't justify watching porn. Nothing does. My point is that if a good christian wants to listen to that type of music that is on them. Not all things are wrong, but not all things are profitable.

If you think music that sings about and glorifies sinful lifestyles does not affect you the wrong way, just because it does not change you into a gangster over night, you are seriously spiritually clueless, that is my point.
