So do I. I think that to some a church is like a business you pass down. I know of two churches that the father passed the church down to a son and one to a son-in-law. Can't say that I totally agree with it but then they didn't ask me.

I think some wives have gotten some men into a lot of trouble with the Lord.

Seriously, I don't doubt it at all. I think the worse thing a parent or spouse can do is to try to get a guy in the ministry. If God wants a man to be a minister he is quite capable of calling him. He really doesn't need any help.
