Ok first....I suspect it's possible that if your pastor were to say what I did that you possibly wouldn't accept it from him either. But who is or who isn't your pastor doesn't really mean anything here. You said it on a public forum, I responded. I don't need to be your pastor in order to respond. I'm sure you know what. But I'm grateful for your "splanation".
Second, I am amazed by a culture that maximizes "holiness" as defined by outward appearance, yet minimizes the Fruit of the Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Gentleness, Kindness, etc.) to the point that joking about drowning a lady is laughed at.
But I do wonder....have you ever prayed for Nancy Pelosi? She's third in line to the presidency.
If you still think your joke about drowning Nancy Pelosi is funny, and I suspect you do, then you and I are not on different sides of the planet, we're on different planets altogether.
So tell your jokes, I guess, and enjoy the laughs you get. But I'll continue to be disappointed that anyone would laugh.
