It was a serious question.

I think that personal conviction has to line up with Scripture. If it doesn't then it possibly needs to be discarded.

But then some of this is dependent on how we divide Scripture. We don't all divide it the same way that's for sure so .......... it seems to me there must be some kind of allowance for a person developing convictions outside of those that are mandated by a pastor, church or organization.

Well, there is no scripture for it Felicity, but I have a conviction that I will never wear my hair as short as yours.

It is personal to me. I don't like short hair and you don't want yours long.

I don't want to dye mine and you do.

So, what do I do? I do what is best for me. It's just all part of making our own choices for ourselves.
