He got mad at something I said. I demonstrated that it was a misunderstanding but he had already spoken and couldn't seem to find it within himself to retract his promise to vacate the premises.

You're right, of course. I've started two threads recently that expressed disagreement with UPC things and everyone on the forum threw a party for me. My back is bruised from so many people patting me on the back. I was immediately promoted to Chief Admin, and was awarded an extra Star in my Crown by a vote of 289 to 2.

Because of my anti-UPC sentiments, I am now the most popular member of AFF!

Everyone just LOVES me!!!

I just like to discuss. No need for slamming or villifying, just plain ol' discussion. Discussing what scriptures say, what they mean, not insisting that we all agree, but laying our views out on the table and discussing them.

If someone is needlessly rude about the UPC, or about the standards, that annoys me. There are some posters I completely skim past and don't read their posts because their derisive attitude annoys me. But I don't feel the need to broad-brush the entire forum because of a few people. Or start a thread and talk about how much they annoy me and why they should leave.

It's a forum. One with a wide variety of opinions. I'm much, much more conservative than some, and more liberal than others. I like it like that. It challenges my views, which can be a good thing.

And again, this is me shouting: I HATE THOSE KINDS OF THREADS TOO! They make me sick!

Why must you continually try to be disagreeable??? What doth it profit you? Disagree with what you disagree with, hate what you want, love what you want, stand for what you believe, but don't come on an "Apostolic" forum and condemn those who don't see "apostolic" like you.

I am often amazed at a person's ability to point finger after finger at certain people/posters. We are ALL God's children, whether we are saved by your definition or not, and it is important to remember that whatever words thou sowest, thou also reapest!

I love this forum and I love what it represents. It is moderated well by BOTH sides (liberal/non-liberal)...it was designed to be a place of tolerance. I don't always agree with what is said/typed, but that doesn't give me a license to be rude or condescending to anyone!

Sorry...this is just really getting on my nerves...it almost makes me walk away from this forum and I hate that feeling. I have found genuine, true, life-changing friends on this forum!

Okay, now off my soapbox!
