Uh huh. OK, let's see. What have I experienced lately in doing the work of Jesus? Uh. Well, ummm, if "the work of Jesus" includes prodding people to think, and defend their beliefs, letting them exercise 1 Peter 3:15, I suppose I see some results nearly every day!

Then you have a wonderful gift of encouragement.
If you use this same gift to reach out to those who are suffering through
loss or pain or life's hurts then you can be honestly called
A Son of Consolation. You would be a good person to work in the harvest
field in any church if this is the case.
I work as a volunteer hospice chaplain. That might be a good area for you
to exercise your gifts. Just some thoughts.

I may have found my (real world) calling, actually! While my son was in the hospital for a month and a half, there were weekly visits from Therapy Pet Pals. Dogs that work magic in suffering or lonely people, visiting hospitals, rest homes, etc. One of our dogs would be perfect for that!
