but I think you might need to get over yourself. I'm a busy mother and wife. I used to be more active on the forum but I don't have the time or patience for adults acting like toddlers when I have two to look after in real life.

I had actually waited a couple of days before even saying anything, just watching how the whole thing continued to play out. I also wanted to try and understand the motivation behind the "gay jesting."
There is a fascinating social dynamic at work. Perhaps I'll try and put it into an essay as I learn more about its workings.

As I pointed out, the "gossip" is more of a "give and take" combined with a healthy bit of "you can take it or leave it." The "slander" accusation however, is an empty one as anyone can read the thread in question if they wish.
Again, I never defended anyone.
