What Is Your Opinion of AFF Posters?

Someone told me something about a certain "other AFF poster" that I found interesting. They said "He/she is not really like they seem to be on AFF". I try to be just like the real me on AFF, and when I am not being the real me on AFF, I try to be the real me in real life. In other words, I'm just as boring in real life as I am on AFF.

As far as my opinion of other AFF posters. My opinion is that all AFF posters are some of the finest people I have met or have interacted with on the internet. Except for those that aren't.

I'm exactly the same, except that this topic is only about 1% of who I am, and I have very strong views about it, so you are seeing a slice of 1% of my personality, 90% of the time when I am here.

The other 99% of me tries to never have any discussions about church or religion ever... I do it all here.... so the people who interact with me other than here never see the attitude that I display here because we aren't talking about religion...

However I thought of something today... me coming here and not liking religion is kinda like a guy who doesn't like sports going onto a football forum and talking bad about football (even though my dad plays. lol). All the more reason for me to just do hit and run postings... most people don't even remember me anyway it has been so long since I posted regularly with the id's I used to use.

My posts, which are very few, tend to reflect the way I'm feeling at the moment. I tried the boring, business power point presentation style on doctrinal topics for a while there, but found out TIC posts "hit closer to the mark", and are fun writing to boot. God only knows what people think of me on here, especially after one of those zany excursions!

But you bring up a good point, and an even greater truth. We really don't know people here in general, because we cannot contextualize the thoughts with the person. I agree with you though, there have been times I thought one thing about a poster, only to disagree with myself after reading their "second" posting.

I think I am who I am... I have met several people from online... I am often told I am more quiet in person...which is true.

Unless you are very close to me in person, you would never know how I am feeling or thinking unless I feel like I can trust. I find it easier to describe my feelings/thoughts in written word. For some odd reason, I just rambling on my feelings and thoughts online.... so actually, if someone reads my posts, they know more than people who see me often.

Weird I know, I think most people are opposite of that.
