Our role is faith--read Romans! We are justified by faith in the blood (
Romans 3). If we believe in our heart and confess that belief with our mouths we are saved (
Romans 10). Jesus paid the price, shed his blood, and applied that blood once for all! When you believe that, you are as saved as you will ever be.
Saved people get baptised. Saved people receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Saved people take on the nature of Christ and bear the fruit of the Spirit. All of these things are about kingdom living not about eternal salvation.
