Re: Enseyian Logic: God Made Mistake with Facial H
As much as the allowance for facial hair is a slam dunk biblically and historically ... many of these men could never flip-flop on this ... they have preached it so hard and heavy for so long they know they would lose their members ...
The question would beg to be asked: If he was wrong about this, what else is he wrong about?
They can't do it. So they can only seek to perpetuate it.

Just shaved all my facial hair off Sunday afternoon it had gotten so shaggy I was chewing on the whiskers. Now I am a candidate for salvation.

There are a significant number in DC that have beards and long hair.

LOL.
Saying a lawyer in DC is a Democrat is like saying dogs have legs, nothing like stating the obvious.
MB is still involved as an elected official in the DC government.

If they are Democrats, they can't be God-fearing Christians.

Re: Enseyian Logic: God Made Mistake with Facial H
One Sunday night in his sermon our pastor said, "The Bible teaches that a man is supposed to be clean shaven." I spoke up and said, "I'd like to see where that's in the Bible." My wife grabbed my arm and gave me "that look." Husbands and children know what "that look" is. Either the pastor did not hear me or he chose to ignore me. When we walked out of that church after service we did not come back although we had been going there about 15 years.

[QUOTE=Sam;884600]One Sunday night in his sermon our pastor said, "The Bible teaches that a man is supposed to be clean shaven." I grew a beard once and the Elder started on me about my beard.I believe it was going on for a couple of months.Mean time the Bishop and Overseer of the Organization was very sick with diabetes and was I believe bedridden for about a month guess how he looked like when he came back?

One time, my former UPC pastor said that one reason why men should not have facial hair is because of the story of Joseph. He said that when Joseph went in to see the Pharaoh, he had to shave his beard....So when we enter the presence of our King, we need to shave our beards, too.
I guess he didn't know that the High Priest of Israel had a beard? ( Ps. 133:2)
