Did Jesus think he was better than the Samaritan..
...woman at the well? Were the Jews better than the Samaritans because of their superior knowledge of God?
John 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Jesus said "WE". Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Dang, I've really struck a nerve with the "Claim to the name" thread, huh? You know what's seriously funny......well, maybe it's ironic......all these pentecostals that yack 'til the cows come home about how their way is the ONLY way, or that their understanding is greater than other Christians, and then when someone shows up and suggests that they may be juuuuust a little bit theologically arrogant, things get ugly!
Come on, you can't have it both ways! You think that if others don't use your 3-stepping formula, they're going to hell. You've already said you're better, just admit it!

Mizpah thinks she is on par with Jesus. She gets to choose who is right and wrong and who is superior.
