I know you are joking here. But, on the most serious side - prayer is very powerful. I've been through enough hell to know that only prayer has saved me and changed circumstances. When we couple prayer with our sincere faith, we can move mountains. Let us bind together in prayer.
I was very happy (this was relayed to me last night) to have a young girl contact her mother to share that she remembered something I taught at one of our ladies meetings about God being very interested in every detail of our lives. Every single, simple detail.
She went on to say that her husband had lost his wedding band and she was so unhappy that they couldn't find it. She remembered the simple prayers that I had prayed and shared with the ladies. She said that she decided to ask God to help her find it. This was after all of their snow. She went outside and happened to see a shining object by the garden bed and it was his ring! She was sooooo happy.
Even though this situation is looking hopeless on the HMH, our sincere and honest prayers will do so much and we will be astonished at what God will do!

You are exactly right!
And, perhaps not printing pictures in the Herald with a woman "letting" her hair down over a basket of prayer request could be helpful too.

Well, shoot, P.O., take all the fun out of it!

Yes, prayer will definitely work. I don't, myself, think the situation looks hopeless. I really don't expect this doctrine to ever become mainstream. I think it is WAY too widespread right now, but still don't expect it to ever completely take over. There are way too many people who object to the doctrine. Not enough people speaking out yet, but I expect that to happen if the doctrine continues to grow.

Sorry, AQP. I'd loan out the horses, but after my father passed away we sold the ranch! No more horses available.
But, seriously, I'm sitting in the midst of 1,100 women and they were not responding very well to the words - "There is power in our uncut hair". I am thinking that some were thinking - "Are you freaking kidding me?! Do you know what I've been through?!!!"
Something has got to make sense at that point.

So the other women there, they didn't 'amen' loudly? They didn't seem to agree with her?

Well, being that my ears were ringing because of my blood pressure...... LOL!
What I felt, at the time, was that some clapped because of HOW she said what she said, but over all it felt like a big question mark floating through the air.
In other words, it was not a resounding clapping of hands and agreement on her statement. The altar call was awesome. People were touched and healed. It's just that faith does that and overrides the error someone is propagating. God is looking at the needs of the individual and not doing that for any other reason. He doesn't heal because He is putting His stamp of approval on a message. Some people probably thought these things happened because of their uncut hair. That isn't true.
I think many have been healed under Benny Hinn only because they had faith. It was not a stamp of approval on his freak show. He does a lot to bring up this stupid "magic" mentality himself. All of it is very disturbing.

I completely agree. God responds to people's faith. He frequently works in spite of error. Too often people think that we must be right just because God touched us, or responded to us. Nope.
